Hi, my name is Joe, I’m the creator of A Brand New Minneapolis and a graduate student here in the Twin Cities (I’m trying to figure out if I’m a photographer and do grad school on the side or the other way around!). I really enjoy film photography because of the tactile nature of the medium, the deliberate process of taking and developing photographs with film, and the wonderful tonalities that digital just cannot match! That being said, I fully embrace the analog-digital hybrid model and am a technology/gadget geek at my core.
